The Yamaha YTS-480S silver-plated tenor saxophone replaces the popular YTS-475S model. A lot of the new features on the saxophone are taken from the Yamaha Pro and custom series saxophones which make the Yamaha YTS-480 alto sax a high specification instrument at a very affordable price.

The Yamaha YTS-480S tenor saxophone has a more solid sound and offers the player a small amount of resistance to play against allowing the player greater musical freedom and versatility.

The new Yamaha YAS-480S alto saxophone features a new octave key design which allows the player to swap or upgrade the instrument neck to Custom Z or Custom EZ necks. The YAS-480 does however come with Yamahas professional 62 style neck which design provides improved tone and quick response.

The YTS-480S separate key guard features adjustable screw cap stoppers normally only found on professional end saxophones and the left hand see-saw provides a more comfortable feel and improved playability. The hand engraved bell gives the saxophone a stylish finish.
