The Yamaha YTS-280 Tenor Saxophone replaces the YTS-275 and is designed to meet the needs of beginners with ergonomic features that promote comfort and correct hand positioning. It enables new players to produce a rich tone quickly and supports rapid progress. The updated neck receiver enhances playability and response, while a new B-C# mechanism improves the feel and clarity of low notes. Though a student model, its playability, tone, intonation, and response are appreciated by more experienced players as well.
