The Focusrite RedNet AM2 is a compact Dante-compatible Stereo Monitoring unit featuring a front-panel ¼” TRS headphone output and rear-mounted balanced line outputs on male XLR connectors. It can be powered via Power over Ethernet (PoE) or the included external DC power supply. Designed to drive headphones up to 600 ohms, the unit is suitable for studio, live sound, broadcast, and educational use. The XLR line-level outputs offer software-switchable 0dBFS reference levels of +18 or +24dBu. RedNet AM2 includes a 2-channel Dante receiver based on Audinate’s Ultimo hardware, with high-quality digital-to-analog conversion at sample rates from 44.1 to 96kHz and better than 118dB dynamic range. Clocking can be internal or via Dante Network Master. It features separate volume controls for headphone and line outputs, with mute functionality for the latter, along with LED indicators for power, network, and signal presence. Two locking etherCON connectors are linked to an integrated Gigabit network switch for network connection and daisy-chaining additional devices.
