The Radial J48 Stereo is a premium dual channel Stereo Active Direct Box designed for live touring and professional studio applications, capable of handling extreme transients without distortion while preserving the natural sound of the instrument. It features a unique switching power supply that increases internal rail voltage, allowing it to manage up to 9 Volts from high-output instruments such as stereo keyboards, compared to the 3 Volt limit of typical active DIs. This increased headroom reduces distortion and maintains full stereo separation, making it suitable for use with two separate instruments or stereo sources.
