The Electro-Voice EKX-18SP is an 18″ Powered Subwoofer featuring QuickSmartDSP with best-in-class processing, EV’s signature single-knob user interface, and intuitive LCD menu navigation. It includes Cardioid Control Technology to steer output toward the audience with up to 35 dB stage reduction when multiple subs are used. A high-efficiency 1300 W Class D amplifier delivers up to 134 dB peak SPL using high-sensitivity transducers designed by EV. Intelligent thermal management with a variable-speed fan ensures reliable performance in demanding conditions. Additional features include two XLR outputs for easy system expansion, large slot ports for low distortion and enhanced bass extension, dual metal grille reinforcement bars, and an M20 threaded pole mount plate.
