The Electro-Voice EKX-15SP is a 15″ Powered Subwoofer featuring QuickSmartDSP with best-in-class processing, EV’s signature single-knob user interface, and intuitive LCD menu navigation. It includes Cardioid Control Technology for output steering toward the audience with up to 35 dB reduction on stage when multiple subs are used. A high-efficiency 1300 W Class D amplifier delivers up to 133 dB peak SPL using high-sensitivity transducers engineered by EV. Intelligent thermal management with a variable-speed fan ensures reliable performance in demanding conditions. Additional features include two XLR outputs for system expansion, large slot ports for low distortion and enhanced bass extension, a metal grille reinforcement bar, and an M20 threaded pole mount plate.
