The Ibanez AS53-TKF Electric Guitar Transparent Black Flat is a 6-string electric guitar, with a sapele top, back and sides, a mahogany neck, a rosewood fingerboard, and a transparent black flat finish. Ibanez introduced Artcore in 2002 and this has been the hollow-body guitar of choice for many musicians over the last 10 years. The Artcore’s combination of quality workmanship and affordability has created legions of fans from diverse genres as blues, country, rock and jazz.
Musicians can find the purity of an old school style jazz-box to a hybrid semi-hollow rocker. Artcore is highly respected for its tone, sustain and the way they hold their tuning and how the series continues to push the boundaries of guitar building. The AS53-TKF features a sapele body connected to an Artcore mahogany set-in neck with a bound rosewood fretboard with a white dot inlay and medium frets. This guitar has Infinity R (H) passive ceramic pickups in the neck and bridge positions, as well as chrome hardware and a transparent black flat finish.
