The Focusrite RedNet R1 is a desktop Dante-enabled Remote Controller designed for flexible monitoring control, supporting output setups from mono to 7.1.2 surround, including Dolby Atmos and custom configurations of up to 12 outputs. It manages audio from multiple sources simultaneously, including DAWs like Pro Tools | HD, analogue, ADAT, S/PDIF, and Dante networks. RedNet R1 supports up to eight input sources from 32 available channels and routes them to up to 12 monitor outputs. It features top-panel controls for level, reference presets, cut, dim, mute, solo modes, A/B monitor switching, and up to four fold-down presets. A Dante-enabled talkback section includes an internal mic pre, onboard mic, XLR input for external mics, and supports up to four talkback groups with Red interfaces. The high-powered headphone output supports high-impedance headphones. Two LCD displays provide accurate level metering and navigation. RedNet R1 is configured using RedNet Control 2 and includes a footswitch input for talkback or LFE muting. It can be powered via PoE or an external DC power supply.
