The YAMAHA YFL-517 Flute offers the ambitious semi professional an instrument with an excellent attack point, a fascinating sound projection and qualities. The new designed AM headjoint has a balanced blowing resistance over the whole tone range and offers the possibility of a high grad of sound variability.
The YFL-517 Flute is manufactured with a special process called ‘Sound Annealing’. That optimizes the attack point which is now more directly. The body is made out of nickel silver and harmonizes perfectly with the 925 Sterling Silver headjoint. The sound is shiny in the higher and warm in the lower octave.
The keys of the YFL-517 are equipped with a special mechanic. That offers a regular pressure and needs less power to push the keys down. The new comfort is especially noticable when you play difficult pieces or passages.
The YFL-517s pads are made out of high quality material and take off the tone holes very precise. The ergonomic formed keys are assembled and adjusted by hand to create a natural feeling of fingering.
