The Radial StageBug SB-5 is a compact Passive Stereo Direct Box for laptops, mobile devices and tablets to a mixer or PA system. It features a built-in cable with a 3.5mm stereo plug for direct connection to consumer audio sources, and uses custom-wound transformers to isolate signals, eliminate hum and buzz, and balance audio for long cable runs. Outputs include left and right ¼” TRS for stereo or a mono XLR to conserve mixer channels. Operating without external power, the SB-5 also includes ground lift and pad switches to address ground loop noise and prevent distortion from high-output sources.
