Pair of Studiio 49 mallets for alto xylophones. The sound quality your instrument produces is highly dependent on the mallet you choose. In general, soft mallets produce more fundamental pitch and less overtone; hard mallets produce less fundamental pitch and more overtone. Large bars require proportionately larger mallet head.
