The classic contours of the RG design , including a lowered armrest and “tummy cut” , ensure absolute control in terms of handling and feel on both leg and strap, whereas the legendary Wizard neck profile – known for the ultimate flat necks – provides the ideal basis for fast licks and leads, not least thanks to the large fretboard radius.
Ibanez’ own Infinity pickups in the H/S/H setup deliver a versatile sound image ranging from bitingly aggressive sounds on the bridge position to the middle warmth of the neck humbucker. As a result, the Ibanez Gio GRG170DX-BKN Black Night is extremely versatile and is virtually suitable for any kind of blues, rock or metal fun. The hardware consists of a T102 tremolo with 2-point suspension and encapsulated tuners .
