The Yamaha DHR12M is a 2-way bi-amp powered Active Loudspeaker designed with a 12-inch woofer and a 1.75-inch high-frequency driver in a coaxial configuration, making it ideal for use as a floor monitor. It features a powerful 1000W amplifier combined with advanced DSP technology and a rugged plywood cabinet borrowed from Yamaha’s high-end DZR Series, ensuring excellent sound quality and durability. The coaxial driver delivers smooth phase and frequency response, providing clear and accurate monitoring, while the compact enclosure is coated with a scratch-resistant polyurea finish. Additional features include a pole socket for easy stand mounting and Yamaha’s proprietary FIR-X™ tuning, which applies FIR filtering and corrective EQ to reduce phase distortion for precise sound reproduction.
