The Focusrite Clarett+ OctoPre is an eight-channel ADAT Preamp designed to deliver pure analogue sound to any ADAT-enabled interface. It features eight Clarett preamps engineered to reproduce authentic large-format studio sound, with all-analogue Air mode and impedance switching that emulate Focusrite’s ISA mic pres for added clarity and presence. Two JFET instrument inputs preserve the natural tone of guitars, while high-quality A-D/D-A converters ensure high dynamic range, ultra-low noise, and low distortion for clear studio tracking. With ten balanced, hum-free outputs, the Clarett+ OctoPre supports pristine monitoring, mixing, and mastering. It integrates seamlessly with 2Pre, 4Pre, or 8Pre units via ADAT, offering consistent I/O expansion and the classic Focusrite Studio Console sound.
