The Audio-Technica AT2040 is a Dynamic XLR Microphone designed for podcasters, streamers, YouTubers, and content creators, delivering broadcast-quality, professional, and clear audio. Based on the bestselling BP40, it features a multistage internal windscreen with foam mesh and a nonwoven filter to reduce pops and hiss, alongside an integrated shock mount that minimizes unwanted noise and vibration. Its hypercardioid polar pattern and large diaphragm provide warm, natural sound with tight, directional pickup, allowing multiple microphones to be used in close proximity without interference. The microphone offers excellent vocal isolation and is easy to set up via XLR connection to professional broadcast equipment or interfaces.
