The Remo Silentstroke Mesh Head 16″ is a single ply mesh head that’s been made for conventional drum shells. Everyone knows that playing drums is loud, and the Remo Silentstroke is about to change that. Whether you live in an apartment or built up area, there are times when practicing becomes an issue. These heads are ideal for these situations.
The single ply mesh material produces an exceptional rebound that’s very comparable with a standard drum head. You can fully tune the heads and they really do sound like your normal drum sound, just without the excessive volume. They can be played in the exact same way as a standard head, from everything to the softest ghost notes to the hardest of accents.
The Silentstroke heads can also be used with electronic drum triggers. Because of how sensitive they can be, they are very capable of transmitting a clear trigger signal, with high precision.
