The Shure DL4B/O-MTQG-A DuraPlex Lavalier Microphone features an omnidirectional polar pattern and an IP57 dustproof and waterproof rating. Its 5 mm omnidirectional miniature design allows for discreet placement and improved gain before feedback, delivering neutral, full sound quality suitable for film, radio, speech, theatre, and performance applications. It includes the advanced 1.6 mm Shure Plex Cable, which resists memory effects and kinks, and can be fully painted with typical theater paints, pens, and polishes. The microphone comes with a Presence Cap for a custom frequency response, providing additional clarity and a 3–4 dB boost at 10 kHz. It utilizes a MEMS capsule with a frequency range of 20–20,000 Hz, sensitivity of -42.5 dBV (7.5 mV RMS) at 1 kHz, inherent noise of 31 dB SPL-A, a signal-to-noise ratio of 63 dB, maximum sound pressure level of 132.0 dB SPL, dynamic range of 101.0 dB, and a 1.67 m (66.0 in) cable.
