The DiMarzio X2N® is a high-output humbucker designed to deliver extremely powerful gain and drive tube amplifiers into heavy overdrive. Featuring twin wide-bar pole pieces and a strong, focused magnetic field, it captures the natural character of the guitar while providing an intense, aggressive output, particularly when installed in the bridge position. The pickup produces a powerful, blistering sound and remains versatile through its support for single-coil and series-parallel wiring modes, which benefit from the pickup’s high output to deliver stronger, more authoritative tones than typical humbuckers.
