The Shure GLXD24R+/Beta87A Digital Wireless System operates on dual bands (2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz) and includes the Beta87A vocal microphone with the GLXD2+ handheld transmitter and a 9.5″ GLXD4R+ rack receiver. It supports up to 8 simultaneous systems, or 16 with the frequency manager, and features automatic frequency setup, battery life display in hours and minutes, and an integrated battery charging slot. The Beta87A microphone has a dynamic capsule with a frequency range of 20–20,000 Hz and a supercardioid polar pattern. The system provides XLR and 6.3 mm jack outputs, a high-resolution LC display, up to 12 hours of battery life, and a range of up to 60 metres. The receiver is constructed from plastic.
