The Focusrite Clarett+ 8Pre is a complete Audio Interface designed to deliver pure analogue sound with eight meticulously engineered Clarett mic preamps for authentic large-format studio quality. Its all-analogue Air mode with impedance switching emulates Focusrite’s classic ISA mic pres, enhancing clarity and presence on drums, guitars, and vocals. Two high-impedance JFET instrument inputs preserve the natural tone of guitars, while independent A-D and D-A converters offer ultra-low distortion and up to 124dB dynamic range. With ten balanced outputs for hum-free monitoring and eight channels in and out over ADAT, the 8Pre provides flexibility and expandability. It also includes a collection of premium plugins from Antares®, Brainworx®, Softube®, Landr, XLN Audio®, Relab, and more.
