The Line 6 HX Effects is a compact multi-effects unit for guitar and bass that delivers the effects engine of the Helix processor in a pedalboard-friendly format. Powered by the HX Audio Engine, it provides detailed circuit-level simulations of classic and modern effects—including overdrives, delays, reverbs, and more—with low noise and dynamic response. It features an integrated looper, support for third-party impulse responses, and intuitive operation via customizable footswitches with scribble strips. Connectivity includes stereo I/O, dual mono or stereo effects loops, expression pedal/ext amp control, MIDI, and USB for preset management via the included HX Edit software.
