The Yamaha SB-7X is a Silent Mute for trumpet and cornet – part of the revolutionary X Silent Brass System series from Yamaha.
Compared to previous models this mute is manufactured to be much lighter and more compact. The blowing resistance is more comfortable and helps you play more naturally and clearly. The perosnal studio unit features a newly developed digital audio technology called Brass Resonance Modelling that records the sound of the trumpet with the microphone and changes it to a real trumpet sound as if you weren’t using the mute.
